The Student Poker Championships™ is an opportunity to prove your poker skills, in a challenging, but risk free Texas Hold'em Tournament. It is also your chance to become the top ranked player at your school and in the country.

At each participating College and University there will be between 10 and 20 tournaments held at the location indicated by your school. Some of the events will take place at the same location on campus, some will change locations on campus.

By participating in events you will receive points toward your school and the National leaderboards. The top 5 players in Canada will gain an entry into the Red Hot Poker Tour Tournament of Champions, the top player on the National leaderboard will automatically receive a travel voucher from Breakaway Tours.

So start brushing up on your skills. Because in Tournaments the play is faster, your reads are more critical, and the tension is constantly increasing. If you can keep it together, manage your chip stack, sort out a bluff or two, you may very well be the newest addition to "Team Canada Poker" and end up representing your school as the Student Poker Champion.
